How to Update Your Server
Before updating your server, please note that the update button will only appear when the server is fully stopped.
Step 1 – Log Into the Panel
Visit:
https://panel.infectedgamehosting.com
Sign in using the login credentials provided in your welcome email.
Step 2 – Stop the Server
After logging in, click on your server and open the Status page.
If your server is currently running, click Stop and wait for it to fully shut down.
Step 3 – Locate the Update Button
Once the server is fully stopped, the Update button will appear.
If you do not see the update button yet, give the panel a moment and refresh if needed.
Step 4 – Update the Server
Click the Update button and allow the update process to complete.
Do not start the server again until the update has fully finished.
Step 5 – Start the Server Again
After the update is complete, return to the Status page and click Start.
Once the server shows as running, your update is complete.
Important Note for Modded Servers
Game updates can sometimes break mods.
If your server was working before the update but no longer works afterward, and your server is modded, try removing some or all mods and then start the server again.
This is one of the most common causes of startup issues after a game update.
